Twitter plans to make money in 2010

Twitter - a micro-blogging social media site is planning more acquisitions. As per the statement of Biz Stone, co-founder of Twitter, "Twitter will start making money in 2010 through non-traditional advertising". Twitter, which lets you send 140 characters of text message to groups of followers is continuously growing in popularity and received fresh funding from various investors totaling around USD 100 million.

Microsoft and internet major Google also had deals with Twitter to allow access for its real time content. Stone said, in the coming days, Twitter will also be available in French, German, Spanish and Italian.
