Never put off till tomorrow what you can do today. This means – do not postpone your work for the next day or for a later time. Time plays an important role in our life as it applies in our every walk of life. One must understand the value and importance of time as the lost time never comes.<br />
<br />
One of the great poets ‘<strong>Tulsidas</strong>’ very correctly said that – “Do today what you were to do tomorrow, do now what you were to do today. For, the world may end at any moment; when and how will you do your work then?” Each day is a little life and every morning opens a new account for you where you are credited with <strong>86,400 seconds</strong>. Try to utilize these seconds because if you fail to utilize them, the loss is going to be yours. Most people won’t worry about time passing by, but one understand that time is priceless and never stops for anybody.<br />
<br />
Time brings regulation in our life and unless we regulate ourselves we will not be able to do any thing, no matter how talented we are. In order to manage and save time, one must plan his/her activities in advance. Wasted time and chances can never be regained. God has created this world for a reason and if we closely observe the nature, we would find plenty of things that come on time. The clock is always ticking. So <em><b>be like the clock</b></em>; always keep on ticking by involving yourself in various activities and learning new things.Anuj Agarwalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12746530811386628974noreply@blogger.com1tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4877615744060195641.post-53958324343845469582011-11-20T22:48:00.000+05:302011-11-20T22:48:13.508+05:30Best 5 companies to work for in India<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:PunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <w:DontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if !mso]><img src="http://img2.blogblog.com/img/video_object.png" style="background-color: #b2b2b2; " class="BLOGGER-object-element tr_noresize tr_placeholder" id="ieooui" data-original-id="ieooui" /> <style>

When Darwin propounded his theories ‘struggle for existence’ and ‘survival of the fittest’ in the mid 19th century, he had scientifically proved that homosapiens were the most superior of all animals. It was not only due to some special physical attributes of human beings, but primarily due to their immense capacity to adjust. The power of speech, memory, etc. all helped the human beings reach great heights from where they command and control all other animals, and controlling the forces of nature to a large extent.<br />
<br />
<strong>Importance of Knowledge in Today’s World</strong><br />
The culture, society, thought, science and technology are the men’s <strong style="font-weight: normal;">powerful weapons</strong>. The societies which are scientifically more advanced have a better place in hierarchy. In today’s world, the power of physical strength has been given least importance as compared to the <strong style="font-weight: normal;">power of knowledge</strong>.<br />
<br />
This is not only true for the societies and groups, but also for the individuals. The ones with more knowledge and sharp minds do better in life as now we have meritocracy, i.e. <strong>merit-based society</strong>. Nowadays, the standard of measurement of knowledge is tested through examination, discussions, interviews and performances.<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">The knowledge today provides opportunities to hold positions, which by the sanction of the society, carry some rights. These rights are actually the powers which go along with that position. The more organized and complex the society and civilization become, the more will be the importance of <strong style="font-weight: normal;">knowledge</strong>. This is because complexity and organization cannot be managed by people who lack knowledge. Thus, we can say that in the present world, knowledge is power.</div>Anuj Agarwalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12746530811386628974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4877615744060195641.post-69628636378246760742011-09-19T21:41:00.000+05:302011-09-19T21:41:42.612+05:30Information on AIDS – Symptoms, Causes and TreatmentAIDS stands for Acquired Immune Deficiency Syndrome. AIDS gradually reduces the effectiveness of the immune system and leaves individuals susceptible to opportunistic infections by making the body vulnerable to life-threatening illnesses. People with AIDS also have an increased risk of developing various cancers.<br />
<br />
<b>What are the causes of AIDS?</b><br />
AIDS is caused by a retrovirus called <b>HIV</b>, the Human Immunodeficiency Virus. This virus causes slow but constant damage to the immune system cells, thereby leading the body to have difficulty in fighting off the infections. HIV is usually transmitted through sharing needles, unprotected sex, and from mother to infant before or during delivery or while <a href="http://anujagarwal.hubpages.com/hub/What-are-the-stages-of-Breast-Cancer" target="_blank">breastfeeding</a>.<br />
<br />
<b>Symptoms of AIDS – HIV Infection</b><br />
People who become infected with HIV may not notice any immediate change in their health. However, some suffer from a flu-like illness within a few weeks of becoming infected, have complaints of fever, headache, tiredness, and may also develop a rash or swollen glands. These symptoms usually disappear within a few weeks after which the person feels normal. This asymptomatic phase often lasts for years. The median time to receive an AIDS diagnosis among those infected with HIV is <b>7-10 years</b>.<br />
<br />
<b>Treatment of AIDS</b><br />
The treatment of AIDS includes the <b>antiretroviral medications</b> which control the reproduction of the virus slow down the progression of the disease. When used in combination, these medications are termed Highly Active Antiretroviral Therapy (HAART). HAART combines three or more anti-HIV medications in a daily regimen.<br />
<br />
<div class="MsoNormal">When you start to choose antiretroviral treatment, you must adhere to it. People with this condition should take the advice of the experts to know the latest mode of therapy. </div>Anuj Agarwalhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/12746530811386628974noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4877615744060195641.post-5121702772293859522011-08-31T14:43:00.000+05:302011-08-31T14:43:16.050+05:30Sushmita Sen – The First Indian Miss Universe<!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:WordDocument> <w:View>Normal</w:View> <w:Zoom>0</w:Zoom> <w:PunctuationKerning/> <w:ValidateAgainstSchemas/> <w:SaveIfXMLInvalid>false</w:SaveIfXMLInvalid> <w:IgnoreMixedContent>false</w:IgnoreMixedContent> <w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText>false</w:AlwaysShowPlaceholderText> <w:Compatibility> <w:BreakWrappedTables/> <w:SnapToGridInCell/> <w:WrapTextWithPunct/> <w:UseAsianBreakRules/> <w:DontGrowAutofit/> </w:Compatibility> <w:BrowserLevel>MicrosoftInternetExplorer4</w:BrowserLevel> </w:WordDocument> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if gte mso 9]><xml> <w:LatentStyles DefLockedState="false" LatentStyleCount="156"> </w:LatentStyles> </xml><![endif]--><!--[if !mso]><img src="http://img2.blogblog.com/img/video_object.png" style="background-color: #b2b2b2; " class="BLOGGER-object-element tr_noresize tr_placeholder" id="ieooui" data-original-id="ieooui" /> <style>

The struggle for independence generated a spirit of unity and nationalism amongst the people and a large contribution to this came from the media, i.e. the </span><b style="font-family: inherit;">newspapers</b><span style="font-family: inherit;">. Media exposed the true face of British imperialism and colonialism, and helped in creating awareness and consequent unity among Indians to fight the British.</span><br />

After independence, the Indian media developed rapidly, including the radio, and then the television. Any occurrence in any corner of the country immediately spreads all over through the media. The spreading of news is not just the conveyance of information, but it also acts as a catalyst in creating identification with the nation, its people, culture, and thoughts. In earlier days, not everyone was able to know what exactly happened and the whole picture used to become clear after a much delay but with the wide reach of media via Television and Internet, everyone gets the news instantly and easily evaluates the situation by various means.<br />

<br />
<u><strong>Formal v/s Casual clothing</strong></u><br />
The poll found that 66 percent of workers said senior managers that ran an organization should always dress up in formal and business clothing. To add more, 64 percent Indians particularly think casual wearers would not promote to senior management so easily. After India, it is Saudi Arabians where 51 percent people ruled out casual dressers making senior management and France coming third at 45 per cent.<br />
<br />
After 58 percent Indians, it is South Koreans and Chinese people who also prefer to wear professional and smart clothing at work place with 47% and 46% respectively. Hungarians tops the list from bottom with only 12 percent likes to wear formal clothing and 46% of Hungarians prefers to wear shorts at work place. <strong>Americans </strong>were found in middle of the list with <strong>37 per cent</strong> prefers to wear smart clothing while 32 per cent prefers shorts over formals.<br />
<br />
These poll results show that country with smart clothing like India and China are leading while the economic problems are continuously increasing in<strong> Europe and America</strong>. Does it mean smart clothing has some kind of impact on mind and productivity? I think it is the time for the world to think.<br />

What normally happens is that the injured person falls down and after few hours’ just passes away, though there is no physical injury. Actually there may not be any physical injuries but most of the times there are internal injuries, which causes such disasters after stroke.<br />
<br />
<b>Signs of Strokes</b><br />
As per some neurologists, there are few ways to identify stroke. So, if someone falls down near to you and he/she feels a bit diminished, just ask him/her few questions and you can recognize whether that person has suffered a stroke or not.<br />
<br />
These questions are:<br />
<ul><li>Ask the individual to <b>S</b>MILE</li>
<li>Ask the person to <b>T</b>ALK (just ask to speak a simple sentence of 4-5 words)</li>
<li>Ask the person to <b>R</b>AISE both arms</li>
</ul>If that person shows trouble in any one of these tasks, call the Ambulance immediately and describe the symptoms as there could be possibilities of internal injuries and blood clotting.<br />
<br />
There is one more sign to identify stroke. Ask the person to stick out his/her tongue. If the tongue is ‘crooked’, or if it goes to one side, then that’s an indication of stroke. So, whenever you see someone clotting after an accident, ask the person above questions and you can save one life. Saving one life means giving happiness to many.<br />
